Condemn Trump’s Use of National Guard and Military against the People
Call your Senators and Representative, and demand they fight Trump’s insane and illegal escalation of the past week, designed to distract the American people while they ram the Budget Reconciliation Bill through Congress. 5calls script available.

Fight the Trump-Kennedy Gutting and Politicization of Medical Research
Prominent NIH staff and the broader bio-medical community launched a significant campaign to fight the Trump-Kennedy gutting and politicization of medical research. It’s called “The Bethesda Declaration: A Call for NIH and HHS Leadership to Deliver on Promises of Academic Freedom and Scientific Excellence.” In addition to current NIH/HHS staff, prominent scientists are backing this new campaign.

Tell Voters in Red States: Pressure YOUR Congress Members to Vote NO on the Budget
The “Big BS Reconciliation Bill” passed the House last week, and faces an uphill battle in the Senate. Between cuts to Medicaid, food aid (SNAP), and other services, MAGA cuts will take an average of $700 out of the take-home pay of people earning from $17,000 to $51,000 starting next year, and more thereafter. On the other hand, those with incomes over $4.3 million will receive an extra $389,000 or more on average in their after-tax income in 2026.

We need to let voters in red states know what their senators are about to do, and get them to raise holy hell about it.

Phone Bank with People’s Action Institute: RSVP on Mobilize.

Inundate Members of Congress with Calls about Tariffs
Businesses are struggling to navigate the costs and confusion caused by Trump’s ever-changing tariffs. Trade tensions appear to be ramping back up with China. Economists warn that Trump’s policies may cause a loss of $23 billion in GDP and 230,000 jobs if foreign tourists flee American markets. His tariffs are endangering U.S. companies’ access to global markets and supply chains. Working families will face rising inflation and stagnant incomes. CALL! A sample script can be found at 5calls.org.

URGE CONGRESS: SAVE PUBLIC MEDIA!
Public media is facing multiple serious threats. The White House proposed eliminating federal funding in its annual budget request, issued an Executive Order to block support for PBS and NPR, and plans to claw back funding approved by Congress. Act now. Tell Congress to reject the rescissions package and stop the dismantling of public media. They have an easy way to send an email to your senators and representative. Click here to take action to save public media.

Stop Crypto Corruption
Democrats are currently working with Republicans on a bill called the GENIUS Act that claims to “regulate” a strand of crypto called “stablecoins.” But in reality, it would enable illicit uses of crypto currency, open the door to blatant frauds, and imperil financial stability. Oh, and Trump and his family are currently using their own crypto currency to corruptly funnel money to themselves, and this bill would do nothing to stop that.
Call your senators -- Republicans AND Democrats -- to demand that they oppose a cryptocurrency bill enabling Trump’s corruption.

Tell Our Senators to VOTE NO on THE SAVE (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) Act
It is crafted by right-wing Republicans to make voter registration more cumbersome and reduce voting, especially among low-income, nonwhite, and women voters.
  • SAVE would require all American citizens registering to vote or updating their registration to present documentary proof of citizenship in person. For most Americans, this would be a passport or birth certificate.
  • Government-issued driver’s licenses—including REAL IDs—as well as military or tribal IDs do not satisfy the bill’s requirements.
  • The SAVE Act would change the way all citizens register to vote. It would upend online voter registration, making it impossible to mail in a registration application and eliminating voter registration drives.

Call your representative. Provide your name and residential zip code. If you get voicemail, leave a message. If you cannot get through at all, send an email. Call or email only once.
